To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
Central MN Noon Optimists
Branch Manager at Sentry Bank is what I do, but helping youth succeed is what I love! I am proud to be the Optimist Club President 2017-19 and to help make our community better each and every day.
Development Officer at Catholic Charities. I was inspired to become an Optimist because I came to my first meeting and was inspired by the Optimist Creed that is recited at the end of every meeting.
Leighton Broadcasting. I’ve been an optimist my whole life, but officially joined the Central MN Noon Optimist Club in 2016. I’m a marketing enthusiast, an energetic volunteer, and a happy cheerleader for the club!
Board of Director
Sales manager at Rengel Printing. I was inspired to join the Optimist Club because of their motto “Friend of Youth”. There are kids in difficult situations due to no fault of their own. The Optimist Club can offer, in small ways, positive feedback and words of encouragement.
While belonging to the Optimist Club, my job, and organizations that I work with have changed but, my passion for serving the youth of central Minnesota has grown. I personally feel that my family and I have improved the lives of our youth and their families in central Minnesota in large part to belonging to the Optimist Club. I have met some great friends along the way.
St Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce, Membership Sales Specialist.
My husband signed me up and I have been enjoying it ever since. Get to meet great people!
Director of Development and Communications, Anna Marie’s Alliance. I was inspired to become an Optimist because I do believe the words of our creed. Equally, I have met some wonderful people by becoming a part of this group.
Deb, retired from well over 30 years in the health insurance sales & service industry, was inspired to become an Optimist because the then club president needed to recruit one new member. She has remained an Optimist because she believes wholeheartedly in the ‘mission’ of Bringing Out the Best in Kids!
Grant & Communications Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota. I was inspired to become an Optimist because I have a passion for serving youth.
Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest – District Senior Manager. I was inspired to become an Optimist because the Optimist Club is a “Friend of Youth”. At Junior Achievement we teach kids about entrepreneurship, how to manage money, and prepare them to successfully enter the workforce. Our shared missions to serve youth were a perfect match!
